CRM Leads

The Leads section is where inbound prospects live before they become full organization records. Leads are scored automatically, tracked through a qualification workflow, and converted to organizations when they're ready.

Lead List

The list shows all leads with their current status, source, score, and assigned admin. Use the status filter at the top to narrow the view:

Creating a Lead

Click New Lead to open the create form. Required fields:

  • Name — Lead's full name or company name
  • Source — Where the lead came from (web form, referral, event, manual, etc.)

Optional fields: email, phone, notes, and assigned admin.

Lead Detail Page

Click any lead row to open its detail page. Here you can:

  • Edit any field (name, status, source, phone, email, notes)
  • View the lead score — A 0–100 score calculated from source quality, profile completeness, and activity. Higher scores surface more qualified leads.
  • See source attribution — Which channel the lead came from
  • Convert to Organization — One-click conversion that creates a new organization record pre-populated with the lead's data. The lead status updates to "Converted" and a link to the new organization appears on the detail page.

Lead Scoring

Scores are calculated automatically based on:

  • Source quality — Referrals and direct outreach score higher than cold inbound
  • Profile completeness — Leads with email, phone, and notes score higher
  • Activity — Leads that have had notes or tasks added score higher

Scores update automatically when you update lead data.

Converting a Lead

  1. Open the lead detail page
  2. Confirm the lead status is Qualified
  3. Click Convert to Organization
  4. The system creates an organization record with the lead's name and contact details pre-filled
  5. The lead record updates to show "Converted" status and links to the new org

Note: Conversion is one-way. A converted lead cannot be reverted, but the lead record remains for reference.

Access Requirements

  • Role: Admin or Super Admin
  • Permission: crm:manage
  • Navigate to: Admin → CRM → Leads
